Planning for our First Sunday Back
Ingleside is committed to the safety of our church family as we make plans for returning to regular Services. We are taking the steps outlined below to help ensure safety and meet guidelines set by the government.
Some basic stuff
- Be flexible and patient, this is new for all of us and we are all working our way through it, there’s bound to be some bumps in the road.
- Use your judgment. We are taking as many steps as possible, but ultimately, it’s up to your comfort level and when you feel comfortable returning.
- We will continue to offer the online services and putting recordings up as swiftly as we can.
Services
- For now, we will not be having Sunday School
- We will continue with the regular morning service at 10am.
Safety and Compliance Measures
We will still be practicing social distancing in the sanctuary we’re asking that everyone coming in follow these measures.
- If you are sick and running a fever, please stay home
- Where a mask from your car to your seat
- We are asking that you ensure there is 1 pew between you and the one occupied in front or behind you. (Please sit every other pew.)
- Please take your coats to your seat with you, this will allow us to ensure there is not a large group of people by the coat area.
- We will use digital projection as much as possible for the songs, including hymns, as well as highlights of announcements we would normally put in a bulletin.
- Hand Sanitizer will be available
Regular Church Activities
For the time being we will be postponing the following activities:
- We are encouraging families to worship and sit together. During this time there will be no nursery or junior church.
- Offering will be taken with a retired offering in the back of the church.
